Let Your Song Be Heard
February 19, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
$5.00 – $15.00

Celebrating music of diverse composers, this program pricks our conscience and prods us toward greater empathy for the lived experience of racial minorities. By taking us to the most exhilarating highs and some quite despairing lows, we will work together, performers and audience alike, to educate ourselves and spur ourselves toward a more anti-racist world. Featuring Adolphus Hailstork’s I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes, Nathaniel Dett’s The Chariot Jubilee, and Joel Thompson’s Seven Last Words of the Unarmed.
featuring
Vesper Chorale & Children’s Choir of Michiana
Jeshua Franklin & Geoffrey Carter, directors
Anne Marie Weaver & Gretchen Wedertz, piano
Pierre Cooks & Joseph Oparamanuike, tenor soloists
ONLINE TICKET SALES CLOSE AT 11:59 PM ON FEB. 18. AFTER THAT POINT, TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR ONLY.
